SKEETER HIGH-WATER RESCUE
The Skeeter High-Water Rescue vehicle, doubles as an emergency evacuation unit, and highlights the many uses you’ll get when you choose Skeeter Emergency Vehicles. Large scale evacuations of people in both metropolitan and rural areas during a major flood event can prove to be more than difficult. Evacuating a subdivision is one thing but imagine evacuating an entire city of over a million. The challenges quickly overwhelm local first responders. Your department will be able to utilize this vehicle during high water rescues, emergency transportation situations, evacuations, rehab at extensive scenes, and much more.

WILDLAND – RESCUE
Designed to meet the growing needs of our customers, Skeeter Emergency Vehicles has built a one-of-a-kind vehicle. This truck combines two major purposes to respond to increasingly frequent incidents: high water and wildland emergencies. The high water application includes two folding benches to support room for approximately 8-10 people. Two removable poles and several clips secure the safety netting at the back of the sitting area. The wildland application features a skid unit with 200 gallons of water, a Darley pump, and hose reel. The skid can be installed or removed using a forklift. As shown in the video below, it only takes a few minutes to change applications. Whatever the call, water or fire, you can depend on this new apparatus to keep their residents and visitors safe!

What is the cost of a Skeeter Emergency Vehicle™?
There is no set price on a truck. Skeeter is a custom manufacturer catering specifically to each individual customers needs. Each unit is build-to-order and we offer dozens of chassis/body configurations and thousands of variables and options. The best way to get a price is to spec a truck the way your agency needs it and let us provide you with a formal quote.
What chassis are available on a Skeeter Emergency Vehicle™?
We can build your Skeeter on most all US commercial truck chassis, including Ford, Chevrolet, Ram, International, and Freightliner. The majority of our customers purchase their chassis through one of the national cooperative purchasing programs.
Can I purchase a front bumper from you?
Sorry, no. We do not sell our components individually. We only provide warranty and replacement parts for Skeeter Brush Trucks.
Can I buy through a cooperative purchasing program?
There are many purchasing avenues available. We are listed on most national cooperative purchasing programs to include BuyBoard, Florida Sheriff’s Association, H-GAC and GSA, to name a few. Learn More
Who would service my Skeeter?
Your truck can be serviced at any of our 42 national service centers or in other cases we’ll work directly with your own service provider.
Where do I get parts for my Skeeter Emergency Vehicle™?
Our Skeeter warehouse keeps many specialty parts in stock for your truck which can be shipped out to you within 24 hours. If we don’t have it in stock we will procure it for you or direct you to our vendors. We also purposely use industry standard wearable components which can be found at any commercial hardware store near you so that you can perform quick and easy field repairs.
